1868. A collection of satirical pieces of poetry called Pasquils in Scotland. In these satires may be found a coarseness of expression and bitterness of feeling, which may not recommend them to the general reader, but will be of interest to the historical student as preserving the state of popular feeling in the reigns of Charles I and his descendants. They are also illustrative of the habits and morals of the people of Scotland for upwards of a century.
