Bitter Honey (droplets) Volumes I and II describe the aftertaste we have left when trying to satiate a pang of hunger. It could have been a natural hunger to help, comfort, share, understand, love, respect, or be courteous and kind. It didn't matter whether or not the encounter was casual, brief, drawn out, or familial. The enclosed sections confront, not always nicely or constructively, those painful times that may have taught us not to wear our emotions on the outside or expose our hearts as if we were modeling the warm lining of a comfortable jacket. Hopefully, it looks at the absurdity of creating space to store any extra baggage we've acquired, much less someone else's baggage. It examines how we exhaust ourselves experiencing and discovering that we have allowed ourselves to be changed, or maybe where we were fortunate enough to catch ourselves before too much damage has been done.
