True success in life is raising up godly children and grandchildren. And to do so, you must first love God fervently yourself, maintaining a distinctive lifestyle and not get stuck into the world system but diligently be involved in teaching your children and grandchildren the things of God.
In 2 Timothy 1:5, (I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also) we see a great generational example of the importance of passing on the faith to future generations and our bloodline. Lois, the grandmother, (and Eunice the mother) of Timothy is commended by Paul as a forerunner who modeled grand-mothering for us.

God's instruction manual on bringing up children is very clear in Deuteronomy 6:5-7: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
According to God's word, God wants parents and grandparents to focus on passing on a godly legacy to the future generations. As parents or grandparents, we cannot expect someone else to lead our children to a saving knowledge in Jesus that will ensure that they do not spend eternity in hell. Because our children are a precious gift from God, He has commanded every parent to lead their children to the Savior and in paths of righteousness. Therefore, raising godly children, who honor Christ, demonstrates our appreciation for these precious gifts.
The greatest and most lasting gift we can give to them is to be an example of Godliness by aligning faith into this future bloodline or legacy. The material things we leave our children are temporary; however, our legacy of imprinting His Word into their hearts and being the right Godly examples can make a significant impact on them for a lifetime and the generations that follow- And this is the greatest blessings and joy that will come as we see this come to pass in their lives.
According to surveys carried out, ninety four percent (94%) of all fundamental Christians accepted Jesus as their Savior while they were very young; and sixty five percent (65%) of all Christians were led to the Lord by their parents.
It is therefore most vital and valuable for those of us who are parents or grandparents to read the Bible with our children, starting from a very young with simple Bible stories, and then progressing through the more age-appropriate children's Bibles and studies as they get older.
Now, while there are numerous Bible Coloring Books available, this book however focuses on Jesus alone, Who is the center of the whole Bible, enabling the child to see the power of Jesus' and His divine authority. Jesus, Who is GOD, showed that He had GOD's power by healing physical illness, raising the dead, feeding the 5000, and forgiving people's sins! He is the Only One who could forgive sin and pay our penalty before a righteous and just GOD- thus help in building the child's faith tremendously.
This coloring book therefore will hopefully help you make a start of building this legacy by passing on through these precious darlings a faith line of future generations
