In BEFORE & AFTER, Keishaura West encourages readers to reject old stubborn ways, anticipate life's lessons of good/bad, and be in tune with the transformation that is unfolding for the better. In each chapter, West forms chronological social occasions where negative considerations developed which forced her off balance and out of a state of complacency. During times of discomfort she trusted her process of personal evolution which has led, and currently leading to a gratifying position of self-preservation. Once you are equipped with the arsenal and burning desire that life has destined for you, it is then that you will be a force to be reckoned with in the most humbling, generous, and dutiful manner.
