According to Hall, there has never been a time in the history of Christian religion that was more important than the present. He attributes the problems within Christianity to the lack of faith, hence the title of this pamphlet, BECAUSE OF YOUR UNBELIEF. His response to this problem is to rely on prayer and fasting as the road to belief in Jesus. The prophets and most spiritual men and women of all ages knew and experienced major fasting with their prayers. Jesus fasted forty days and forty nights. He was acquainted with the value of the process. Today, if someone fasts beyond one, two or three days it is almost a miracle, yet there is as much difference between this kind of fasting and a fast of ten, twenty-one and forty days as there is between day and night. YOUR UNBELIEF will be entirely eliminated by the latter method of fasting, and this type of fasting is the nearest thing to faith except faith itself. The prophets knew and experienced It.
