The Beagles are grafting away in basement clubs, hoping for their big break. They are skint, they are stubborn, and they are certain the world is ready for them. Once they hit the States, everything goes sideways. A broken down van, a small town full of excitable teenagers, and one tiny misunderstanding lead to a night that changes everything. The crowd thinks they are The Beatles. The screaming is unreal. The lads know it is wrong, but the noise is like nothing they have ever heard.
As they stumble from town to town, riding a wave that is not really theirs, they have to face the truth about who they are and what they want. Jack feels the weight of it, Pug loves every second, Russell tries to keep the music steady, and quiet Gordon sees the whole thing coming before anyone else. Sid is convinced they are on the edge of greatness, as long as nobody looks too closely.
