Kevin's friendship would help to promote a peaceful and legal protest despite this vicious and wicked disrespect. The non-fiction historical background paper at the end of the novel raises vexing questions about how the May 4 Cover up may effect Notre Dame football and South Bend, Indiana's tourism industry.
