This is the first book in a series intended to entertain. The book series was written for easy and light reading with characters who normally do not take themselves seriously, except when faced with evil and pain in the grandest scale. The first book introduces the major alien groups. The armada series is about a journey of humans from the first alien contact to a very advanced state of affairs from a micro and macro point of view. The series attempts to define what humans need to successfully venture into the galaxies. Humans can venture as oppressors and tyrants until they encounter a bend beyond which they can not progress. The series also deals with the relationship of aliens with different aliens, their mindsets, their societies and what species could be. While there are bad aliens, most are good and logically want to grow their civilizations peacefully coexisting with other aliens. The books also deal with the idea that occupying inhabited planets or galaxies do not work and present the reasons why this is so.
