Nobody likes English Professor Klaus Hamilton and with good reason. He treats his students and others as totally inferior beings. But who despises him enough to run him through with an Elizabethan sword? Is it the student who is failing the class and won't inherit his father's wealth if he gets less than a B grade in any of his classes? Is it the quarterback who also is failing the class but needs a passing grade to continue playing football? Or could it be the secretary who discovers the professor is a fraud? Maybe it's his ex-wife whom he constantly mocked and demeaned. Or is it someone else, like the professor whose career Hamilton threatened to end? At any rate Jessica Palmer, who tries desperately not to let anyone know she's a witch, her friend Elsbeth, who doesn't care who knows she too has magical powers, and Jessica's boyfriend try to discover the identity of the murderer. Through many twists and turns-and some touches of magic-they finally are able to solve the mystery. Please Note: Approximately 51,000 words in length. It is a standalone (reading prior or future volumes not required to enjoy the book, no cliffhanger). Themes include: murder, cozy mystery, students, university, professor, evil, witches, magic, fraud
