The Atthasalini is a book written by Muller, Edward that provides a commentary on the Dhammasangani, which is one of the seven books that make up the Abhidhamma Pitaka, a collection of Buddhist scriptures. The Dhammasangani is a list of 22 categories of phenomena, and the Atthasalini explores and explains each category in detail. The commentary is attributed to Buddhaghosa, a 5th-century Indian Buddhist scholar. The book was originally published in 1897 and is considered an important text in the study of Buddhism. It provides insight into Buddhist philosophy and the way in which Buddhists view the world. The Atthasalini is written in English and is accessible to both scholars and laypeople interested in Buddhism. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
