From the mind of Robyn Smythe, who brought you 'The Animal Tea Party' and 'Fudge - a Short Tail of Tooth and Claw', as part of his 'No Sense' Series, comes an inspiration story of friendship and unity. When Arthur the Aardvark falls desperately ill, the animals of the water hole join together to raise both money and awareness of Arthur's plight.
Pauline, the lioness, with the help of Lesley the leopard, devises a plan to shave her husband's luxurious mane for charity, and also bakes some delicious cakes along the way to add to the donation. Meet interesting and colourful characters, with their own take on jungle life. Some laid back whilst others are more 'hands on'. Join the jungle animals as they band together, putting their differences and instincts aside to aid one of their own having some giggles along the way. Based on real life events suffered by the author himself, this is truly a case of hair today, gone tomorrow.
Awareness is the theme of this hilarious story of a young aardvark's courage against a terrible disease. Sold in honour of Arthur and his family and to support Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity.
