The authors, sons of Armando Dias Tavares and also physicists, have witnessed much of what is presented in this book, through their experience and work in the same field. Thus, step by step, covering a time span of almost a hundred years, we can understand the calamitous state of culture in Brazil. Indirectly, through testimony, we come to the same conclusions as other authors: High Culture no longer exists in Brazil. In fact, not even the tolling of the bells is heard anymore and the victim can rest in peace.
