Transport yourself to the golden age of Edwardian musical comedy with The Arcadians, a delightful and whimsical gem from the British stage. First performed in 1909, the musical captivated audiences with its witty book by Mark Ambient and Alexander M. Thompson and lyrics by Arthur Wimperis.

Follow the story of a modern-day man who stumbles upon Arcadia, a utopian land where truth and simplicity reign supreme. When he brings these ideals back to a bustling and satirical Edwardian London, hilarity ensues in a clash of cultures, brimming with comedic misunderstandings, romance, and biting social commentary.

This new edition of the libretto preserves the wit and whimsy of the 1909 classic, offering theater enthusiasts, historians, and performers a chance to revisit a true treasure of early musical comedy.
