In her new book, Ahlam Mosteghanemi tells the story of a man tormented by separation, who lost his trust in love altogether. A mysterious man approaches the author, the story's heroine, addressing her with words that are none other than her own words. Sentences she had previously said to Camelia, the muse of the bestselling book 'Nisyan.com.'
Who is this man and what does he want from her? As usual, Ahlam takes us to exciting worlds of love and malicious tricks of fate. This book also contains pages from Ahlam's memories as a writer and human being, which she narrates to the reader for the first time. Amusing memories she lived with figures she knew such as Nizar Qabbani and Ghazi Al-Gosaibi, and other private family ones. It also contains the heroes of her novels, her relationship with them and with writing, her parting with them after each book, and her renewed meeting with writing from time to time. All this in the enjoyable, narratively dense style she has accustomed us to, and with content rich in her stories and others' stories and their concerns and obsessions, whether emotional, social, or national.
