Apophis Trilogy

The Apophis Trilogy is a single themed work in three forms. The Dawn of Apophis is a free-verse poem - the world waking to the news, the way news always wakes a world. The Day of Apophis is a two-act stage play, following an ensemble of characters across the globe: a young Sicilian couple expecting their first child, a Presbyterian pastor and his groundskeeper in California, a profit-driven construction owner in Boston, and ordinary families everywhere doing what ordinary families do when the sky stops being safe. The Eve of Apophis is a closing short story - quieter, intimate, the last hours from inside a single home.

Less an apocalypse story than a meditation on what apocalypse reveals: who we are when the timeline shortens, who we love when there is no later, and what faith looks like when nothing else can be counted on.
