Anthony Knight: Oath of Service takes place in a universe where the Ademar Empire, a galactic superpower, controls a third of the Milky Way Galaxy. Imperial scientists discovered the human civilization living on Earth and eagerly dispatched the ISV Ranger to investigate. The crew, hoping to learn more about their distant human relatives, were left for dead when a group of unknown hostiles attacked the ISV Ranger.
Anthony Knight was born on that marooned ship. His birth, along with dwindling supplies and loss of contact, forced the crew to live on Earth. The surviving crew members endured a harsh life for twenty years. Eventually they were able to return home. But what about Anthony?
Politicians challenged his rights as an Imperial Citizen and demanded he remain on Earth. However, the Imperial Military offered a way out. Anthony could stay if was accepted into their ranks and took the Oath of Service.
Anthony gladly accepted the challenge, not to exploit the loophole, but to follow in his parent's footsteps.
