New expanded edition - two brand-new chapters and a new author's note

I don't wake up when I fall asleep. I continue.

Every night, when he closes his eyes, he doesn't dream - he clocks in. On the other side, battles he never chose and minimal corrections - a robbery that never happens, a car that brakes in time, a spoon that falls in a kitchen at three in the morning - for a system that never explains itself.

Until he learns to cross over awake.

With lucidity come the questions the place won't tolerate. If every intervention is recorded, who keeps the ledger? On this side, the day grows thin. Work, friends, his sister Clara: everything starts to feel like a waiting room between two shifts. He can't explain his exhaustion. He's starting to be unable to blink in public.

This is not a story about dreams. It is the report of a man who discovered that reality is administered.

Anomaly Report #001 is the opening entry of The Ledger of the World, a series of reports bound by a single suspicion: that the world is not a place but a process, and we are minds navigating it. Each report investigates a different crack. This is the first.

If you've ever woken up more tired than the day can explain, this ledger is for you too. Not to prove you right. To compare notes.
