This is Book one (Telangana Must Happen) and Book Two (The Morning Run) as a single paperback edition from Anjom is a science fiction novel blending time travel and alternate history, set against the backdrop of the Telangana State formation. The story follows five friends - Ketan, Roy, Tirumala, Girit, and Devi - researchers at Amaravati University working on an experimental time travel device. During a routine test, they are accidentally flung back to 2010, where a small, well-meaning act sets off a catastrophic chain of events: they save a rabbit, and in doing so, cause the death of a woman whose survival was critical to history as they knew it.
The consequences ripple forward. The Telugu states never split. Amaravati is never built. Nearly 80% of Telugu people end up concentrated in Hyderabad - and on Night Zero of the great Anjom War, when aliens from the planet Anjom launch their assault, almost all of them perish.
In the original timeline, two brothers living in Amaravati were destined to save humanity from the invasion with the help of Rama people. In this new, broken timeline, they live in Hyderabad instead - and die before they can fulfill that destiny.
Now the five friends must confront what they have undone. Can they undo the rabbit effect, restore the timeline, and give humanity back its only chance of survival?
