The virus begins to infect the world starting in Ecuador when it is accidently released. But that will gain speed slowly at first. In the United States a top-secret military panel authorizes releasing it on the general public starting in America and then spreading out from there to the entire world. While it is slowly spreading from Ecuador, it is soon spreading from several places in the world and the fall of humanity is begun.
This book follows that start and a few survivors who attempt to outrun their destiny and flee the northern New York town where the virus was developed and released from. An epic game of survival begins as the handful of survivors sets out to find a place of safety for themselves where they can once again find hope for life and humanity.
