charismatic and Pentecostal experience either dismisses the experience or tries
to preserve it by defending the framework that surrounded it. This booklet does
It takes the experience seriously. Something was real in those moments.

that you could not have manufactured yourself. Those experiences were pointing at
something. The question this booklet raises is whether the framework you were given to interpret them
was adequate to what they were actually pointing toward.

were seeking was already present before the music started? What if the seeking
- the tarrying, the pressing in, the hunger for more - was always circling
something that was never actually absent? Already Present is for those who gave
themselves to the seeking and found it exhausting. For those who saw the
machinery. For those who still feel something when they think about the genuine
moments. What the experiences were pointing toward never left.
