Author's Note to Parents, Guardians, Caregivers, Teachers, etc...

Hello!

First, I would like to thank you for your interest in this book. Even though this book is about Allie the Alligator and her apples, the main focus is on the letter a. I wanted to put in as many words starting with a (that are fit for children of the preschool age range) into this book as I could. So that it can help children be able to recognize the appearance and sound of the letter a in words and sentences as well as help develop their independent reading skills. My goal as an author is to help children in their areas of development as much as I can. This book in particular is the first of 26 and each one following will be like this one except it will focus on a different letter of the alphabet. I invite my readers to look around this book and see what other things may start with this letter. For an extra challenge, children can also think of more words starting with a that aren't in the book. Once again this is the first of quite a long series with all the letters of the alphabet that are just like this one and I'm so excited to share it with young readers. I hope you and the little ones enjoyed it as much as I did making it. If you like this book, please take a look at the very first book I ever had published and stay tuned for the books coming soon. Thank you again. Sincerely, Gina DeSanctis
