An alien spaceship is spotted by NASA... It lands in Paris... Two gauloise-smoking policemen and a young female graduate head out to investigate...Can it be? #AliensinParis? Two Aliens have landed in Paris? But why? Who are they? What do they want? Now read on...It was not like looking for a needle in a hay-stack. It was like feeling for a needle in a hay barn wearing gloves and a blindfold - that's what Steven told me. He was talking about the Search for Extra Terrestrial Life, an impossible pursuit until two aliens, yes two, landed in Paris. It had been hard getting a place in London's Metropolitan Police, the Met, straight from Uni. But the competition did not stop then, when Michelle a young female graduate fails to make the cut for forensics and firearms, she is instead chosen to join the Paris Police. What sounds like a glamorous posting in fact involves working in a small stuffy office with gauloise-smoking militant anglo-saxons..It was six month of hell, but it included two days which would be the greatest adventure of her life, when Aliens land in Paris. If you at university and thinking of your first job, your first career, take a look at what happens to Michelle and lose yourself in the adventure.I had been reading a lot of Joanna Trollope and Bridget Jones when I wrote this story, I was also part of a graduate training scheme for a large corporate, and this tales speaks of new horizons and new adventures, and amazing new possibilitiesPart of the Extended Universe of Guy Erma and the Son of Empire, discover the new epic sci-fi adventure and a new voice in Science Fiction Sally Ann Melia.
