It is not often that fiction speaks so truthfully to the soul of a people. It is even rarer that the imagined echoes so faithfully the lived realities of tradition, leadership, and legacy ....By His Majesty, Ehunabobrium Prah Agyensaim VI AUTHOR'S THOUGHTS
In Trilogy series, we see two linked lives in two separate lifetimes, each of whom must live their truest and fullest self for the other's life purpose to fulfill. Of course, this is fiction and must not in any way be taken literally by the reader. However, reflecting on the characters also gave some food for thought of which I share:
In Trilogy series, we see two linked lives in two separate lifetimes, each of whom must live their truest and fullest self for the other's life purpose to fulfill. Of course, this is fiction and must not in any way be taken literally by the reader. However, reflecting on the characters also gave some food for thought of which I share:
- If we each had the awareness that more hung on our lives than we had previously imagined, would that make us live differently?
- If we had knowledge that the unfolding of our truest self was also be the missing link to a major part of a life - past, present or future, would that make us take a different turn from the mundane to pursue that which feels true from within?
- And if a voice were to whisper, Don't jump, keep moving, because it knew we could overcome our challenges, would it spur us on when we grow weary in the pursuit of that which calls on us from within?
- Could it be then, that in finding and devoting our attention to that which resonates and rings bells of inexplicable joy within us, that we may perhaps, be fulfilling that very unique life purpose, however unexceptional it might seem?
Regardless of the above, my hope is that through these pages, the reader stumbles upon their own thought- provoking questions and the discovery of much more in addition to the beautiful culture of the Akan people of Ghana as portrayed in these books.
