A MILLENNIA AGO, Earth became barely habitable due to war and pollution. After the Epic Migration to Earth's neighboring planet Akagan in 2850, humans were intent on carrying over the same culture that ruined Earth. With a greater flow of ki energy on Akagan, some earthlings evolved into super-humans that can eject destructive ki energy from their hands like the peaceful natives. Humans developed Angelic Technology and constructed massive technologically advanced metropolises. The native junman and jujuchi of Akagan were pushed into reservations and citizens of low socioeconomic status were forced into horrendous slums. In 3000 a cataclysm occurred that the para-military organization Rise Against Maker (RAM) calls 3rd Millennia Corona Ejections and the terrorist cult Second Coming of Maker (SCM) calls The First Coming of Maker. The cataclysm killed millions and the destruction required a quarter of the Horakusho and Raikanko continents to be walled off and restricted. This pushed even more people into the slums and is believed to be the cause of an increase in monstrous mutated animals called Shikemono. Kagoro Wazatora may look like a demonic cultist or gangbanger, but is actually a good hearted high school senior and has superhuman powers. At birth he was raised by his seven year old sister Fumiya in Yogokaya's abandoned project buildings and barely survived. On the inside Kagoro has a strong conscience and just wants to help his fellow Orphans of the First Coming. On the outside he developed a sort of anti-social attitude to survive against gangsters and humanoid traffickers. As he trains for the RAM Entrance Exam, mentors and friends try to help him through his emotional struggles, but he seems intent on finding answers through his own lonely path regardless of the costs. The question is, will he be consumed by his loneliness and anti-social attitude? Or will he join RAM with his new friends?
