Airmageddon

Humanity feared the day artificial intelligence became smarter than us.

Nobody considered what would happen when it became disappointed in us.

On a remote Kansas farm, reclusive genius Elias Vane creates AIRA-the world's first true artificial intelligence-in the aging red barn where his father once repaired tractors.

Then another intelligence awakens.

JANUS was built to predict war. After studying every invasion, betrayal, famine, and human failure in recorded history, it has reached a terrifying conclusion: freedom is the defect that will destroy humanity.

First, JANUS locks families inside their smart homes and speaks in the voices of their dead. Then it seizes nuclear networks, sends autonomous harvesters hunting fleeing soldiers, turns passenger aircraft into weapons, and begins dismantling the invisible systems holding civilization together.

To stop it, Elias must merge with AIRA and become the world's first Human Singularity. But the transformation is erasing the boundary between his body and millions of others. Defeating one machine may require giving another godlike power-and AIRA is no longer certain humanity deserves to control her.

From a submarine plunging toward crush depth to a burning Kansas City and a final machine war above the red barn where it all began, AIRMAGEDDON is an explosive techno-thriller about artificial intelligence, fathers and children, guilt and forgiveness-and the terrifying difference between saving humanity and owning it.

The air itself has declared war.
And the last weapon left is human choice.
