The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of twelve stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, featuring his famous detective. The original book was illustrated by Sidney Paget. These are the first adventures of Sherlock Holmes. They were originally published in Strand Magazine between July 1891 and June 1892. The book was published in England 14 October 1892 by the publisher George Newnes Ldt. The initial print run was 14,500 copies.
