Come along and celebrate with all of Rodger Dodger Dog's friends. It's Rodger Dodger's Birthday a truly big event with all his friends coming, Bunny thought he'd better rent a tent. Rodger's friends all get together and set up for Rodger's surprise birthday party. All of the characters in the Rodger Dodger Dog series are in this book from Big brown lizard right down to the dreaded flea who is hiding in some of the illustrations. After decorating the tent and getting the lightning bugs to light the tent all night, they all wait for Rodger to arrive. Then the fun begins. They give Rodger his gifts, play pin the tail on the donkey, musical chairs and even elephant walk. The cake and ice cream is eaten under the colorful baloons while Rudy and Bunny sing all their silly tunes! Rodger then thanks all his friends for making his birthday a very special day. This is truly a celebration of friendship. Your children will love it and you will too! Makes a great gift!
