It's a rollicking international adventure thriller that's packed densely with science, superscience, science fiction, pop culture, humor and more twists and turns than I expected. It was ever so much fun to get inside the mind of a very intelligent protagonist who makes no apologies for a high IQ. And you'll meet great villains you will love to hate! I guess you might have to be on the smart side to understand some of the science concepts in this book, but even if you don't know what quantum physics is, the superheroine who uses her brainpower for good, not evil, is compelling and funny and just downright adorably smart. And you will be entertained and learn so much cool science-y stuff if you read this book. This was a rollicking thrill ride! I hope it becomes a movie because it deserves it. When do we ever get such a brilliant heroine? What a treat! This is probably the best superhero novel I've read in years, and I've read a LOT of graphic novels and comic books. It's non-stop action almost from page one with a heroine whose snarky sense of humor at her situation kept me on the edge of laughter. This story has twists and turns you don't see coming at you and leaves you wanting more! The characters are amusing for sure. If you need to take a break for a few hours, this is your ticket for sure! 'Luke, ' says Yoda. 'Use the mass times the acceleration!' Do you find this as hysterically funny as I do? Welcome, fellow geek! You're in exactly the right place because I have got a book for you. When we first meet Mira, she's a physics graduate student bemoaning the lack of men in her life. J.R. Rain, Kris Carey, and Matthew s. Cox have channeled Mira's voice into a hilarious blend of nerd, geek, and lovelorn scientist. I'd give it five stars and urge them to hurry up with the sequel. Fresh, funny and fast-paced! I loved this story. Mira Verborgen is a graduate student, a little too brainy for her own good, who goes to Switzerland to study with a famous physicist, Dr. Orlov. He turns out to be crazy as a bat-literally. Her fellow student, Gianni, is a gorgeous, sensitive Italian hunk, but he has a girlfriend-the icy Ingborg. Mira, Gianni, and Dr. Orlov are caught in a laboratory accident, though one with a disastrous and very funny outcome, while touring the Swiss CERN reactor. I enjoyed the read; the story was a little like a summer vacation in Europe with a bright, amusing friend to narrate her adventures.Also from
