This beautiful children's book has full page illustrations that follow the adventures of a little toad as it searches of a new place to call home. The heartwarming and soft story is set in a small shady backyard in the early summer. The little toad explores a vegetable garden, a warm sunny patch of grass, the brick skirt of a house, and some brightly colored toys in the yard before being discovered by a little girl who scoops it up to gently look at it closer. She releases it down to a flower bed where the little toad comes across an old broken flower pot hidden under the greenery of the lush plants.
