A Future for a Woman With a Past follows the life of Jane Jordan, who witnessed her father stab her mother to death at the tender age of 5. Understandably, she then went through sheer hell with mental trauma and nightmares.
Soon after this tragedy, Jane was temporarily placed at her paternal grandmother's house until she was removed and placed in foster care. During this time as God would have it, a beautiful angel stepped in and cared for her while in foster care. This angel worked diligently to reunite Jane with her maternal Aunt. The journey for Jane was only beginning as she had to adapt to her new living arrangement and learn to accept the love of her aunt. The story gets deeper as we traverse the ups and downs of Janes's life from that moment through her time in prison, drug dealing, lesbianism, and battling ADHD and depression.
Through it all, Jane realized that without forgiveness of her Father for his unspeakable crime, and without some personal accountability for her own actions, that she could not live a life of love. So with God in her corner, and through sheer determination and grit, Jane pushed through the darkness to find the best possible version of herself. This is her story...
