The Plaenorians face total annihilation. It is only through the quest of a young orphan, Dwendel Williford, and his trusted gray fox, Gendrich, that tragedy can be averted and hope restored. The Alvenrus, a vicious Bludgen breed of man and dog, are on a sinister mission to wipe out the existence of all beings in the magical land of Arthorias. Not even their Bludgen brothers, the Khaz'ans and the Boones, are safe from their tenacious kin. Unbeknownst to Dwendel, revealing the whereabouts of the enemy is only a small part of his actual purpose. There is something greater, more powerful and more important, to the survival of humans and Bludgens alike. A mystical tome is known to possess greater powers than anyone or anything has ever seen before. So powerful it possesses the ability to give life - or take it away at will. Can Dwendel bolster the fading alliance among the kingdoms of men and turn the tides of this momentous war between two opposing races? Can he unravel the mysteries of his dismal past in time to save the people of Plaenoras? The enthralling world of Dwendel, Gendrich, and the people of Plaenoras, comes to life in this exciting new novel from Marcus Redgrave. Sudden twists and turns will keep you riveted to your seat and longing for more!
