One year after the Dexpelin Association has collapsed and its former members are incarcerated, the world has come to a standstill. With the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown, Nathan doesn't get very many opportunities to develop his powers, nor does he have any possibility of investigating crime. But he knows that the problems are far from over.
Luke Robinson, another teen, is enraged at Nathan being behind the arrest of his mother. His already terrible life spoils more and more as time goes by, cooped up in the foster care for the children of criminals. Luke doesn't fear the virus, and the lockdown doesn't stop him from growing more powerful. Although Luke seeks his revenge on Nathan and is completely sure of his mother's innocence, he realizes that the Dexpelin Association was just the tip of the iceberg. With another pharmaceutical conspiracy unraveling when Coronavirus vaccines are needed the most, Nathan and Luke follow their own paths to try to get to the bottom of the mysteries surrounding this new company's vaccine that allegedly protects against COVID-19. Will their rivalry be obstructive to their efforts at finding answers?
