This is the story of the 2025 NHL Four Nations Faceoff, which was held in February 2025. The teams were made up of players from the USA, Canada, Sweden, and Finland.
It is the story about the games and the players.
In 2025, the NHL sponsored an in-season tournament between players from the USA, Canada, Finland, and Sweden. The games were played in Montreal at the Bell Centre and in Boston at the TD Garden.

Then, the teams played each other once, and the two teams with the most points played each other for the championship. Each team played three games in a round-robin format. If teams were tied at the end of the round-robin, they were separated by their head-to-head record.
Three points were awarded for a regulation win, two for an overtime win, and one for an overtime loss.
Naturally, zero points for a regulation loss.
After the round robin play, the leading teams, USA and Canada, met in a championship game.
