Jacob's journey takes him from the precipice of making his hometown NHL team at age 21, to exotic locations across the European continent, experiencing hockey and life from the Italian Alps to Scandinavia's Northern Lights. Along the way, he confronts the demon of his past while striving to impact the lives of others, becoming known to teammates and fans alike as Happy Jake.
A global pandemic cuts his career short, and he returns to America vowing to never leave his children again. Relegated to normal life, a serendipitous opportunity arises. Jacob suits up for 3ICE. The riveting summer season leads to a championship game in Las Vegas, where fast-paced hockey collides with his past to create a final battlefield that transcends hockey.
