All while trying to figure out the operation of a sextant. Surely it can't be more difficult than opening a tin of pineapple. Jolly good fun! This rollicking interplanetary adventure succeeds as both historical science fiction and Edwardian pastiche, combining moments of real drama with amusing digressions. A winner.
