Arthur Reed did everything right.
He worked for the same company for forty-one years. Paid his bills on time. Stayed sensible. Planned ahead.

Eat something he can't pronounce.
Call the person he hasn't spoken to in thirty-five years.
Do something that genuinely terrifies him.
So Arthur does something completely unlike Arthur.
He packs a bag and leaves.
What begins as an attempt to finish an old list becomes a wonderfully unpredictable journey filled with terrible dancing, wrong turns, unexpected friendships, family arguments, ridiculous decisions, and moments Arthur wishes he'd had the courage to experience decades earlier.
But there is a problem.
The final item on the list has been crossed out so heavily that Arthur can't read it.
He assumes his nineteen-year-old self changed his mind.
He didn't.
Someone else crossed it out.
And when Arthur finally discovers what the last item said-and why it disappeared-he must confront a decision he made almost fifty years ago.
Because perhaps Arthur doesn't need to finish the life he planned at nineteen.
Perhaps he needs to decide what to do with the one he still has.
