In The First and Second Joseph, Fr. Marin de Boylesve, S.J. (1813-1892) presents thirty-one meditations exploring the remarkable spiritual relationship between Joseph of Egypt and Saint Joseph, foster father of Jesus. The graces, authority, trials, and providential mission of the first Joseph foreshadow the sublime vocation prepared for the second.
