In The Blessed Virgin According to the Gospels, Fr. Marin de Boylesve, S.J. (1813-1892), offers thirty-one meditations on the life, virtues and spiritual greatness of the Mother of God as presented in Sacred Scripture.
Written as a Month of Mary, each reading provides a clear and accessible biblical reflection suitable for personal meditation, family reading or daily spiritual study. The collection may be used during May, but it is equally appropriate for March and the Annunciation, August and the Assumption, October and the Holy Rosary, December and the Immaculate Conception and Nativity-or at any time of the year.
