Nicholas Good's first novella brings us into the mesmerizing world of two lovers put on a path neither know or understand, a path that unsuspectingly becomes the building blocks of a new order. Follow Saila Briggs and Izik Rios from childhood to adulthood and from the far corners of Canada, in this continent spanning journey. Using his unique brand of 'prose-poetry, ' Good tells the story of two lovers, battling drug addiction, faith, abuse and loss, while set as the unique instigation of a modern revolution. Good's writing style is a sultry and ravenous blend of poetry and prose, blunt emotional appeal and deep affection for life's hidden beauty, all the while building a narrative not often found using these devices. The novella winds itself in a vibrant trail of clues that ultimately brings the story of Izik and Saila together, yet opens the door to varying existential and religious interpretation. In short, Nicholas Good has delved deep into a detail-rich world like nothing readers have experienced before. Using his heavy hand of fresh metaphor and striking modern language, transform_earth simply amazes and has the makings of a modern classic in this ever-changing world of literature.
