The henchman, Hubba, and his gang of goons, swindle every last potato farm in the area, save one. A single family, the Ibagurens, mount the most courageous, albeit unconventional, defense. They fend off a barrage of attacks to save the family farm that they built, their town, and in the process ironically discover a whole new way of life.
