The Zend-Avesta, Part II: The Sirozahs, Yasts And Nyayis is a book written by James Darmesteter. It is a collection of ancient texts from the Zoroastrian religion, which was practiced in ancient Persia. This book is the second part of the Zend-Avesta, which is the holy book of the Zoroastrian religion. The Sirozahs, Yasts, and Nyayis are three sections of the Zend-Avesta that contain prayers, hymns, and rituals. The Sirozahs are a series of prayers that are recited at specific times of the day, while the Yasts are hymns that are dedicated to various deities. The Nyayis are a collection of hymns that are recited during religious ceremonies. The book provides a translation of these texts into English, along with commentary and analysis by the author. It is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of religion and the ancient Persian culture. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
