A young girl falls asleep and dreams of an undersea Caribbean world, where she has become a seagirl named Luna. Her brother, a seaboy, is caught in a fisherman's net and whisked away. When Luna tries to find her brother, other sea creatures help her as best they can, and she is told to seek the help of a mysterious hoomin named Johnny Sea Ranger.
