As for me and my house, we serve and will continue to serve the LORD. This biblical statement shows us the importance of the family being united in Jesus Christ.
The family is the first institution created by God. It is the first place of education and socialization for any individual. It is the place where one learns basic skills, moral values, and appropriate behaviors for social life. This is indeed why such an institution is the social organ most threatened by Satan, the devil. In other words, all societal decline occurs first and foremost through the rejection of the family values advocated by God since the Garden of Eden.
