Success came fast.
Money, influence, and recognition followed as the company grew, and the lifestyle began to match the success. What started as a dream turned into a whirlwind of luxury, long nights, and celebrations that felt more like scenes from a movie than real life. Chino and his circle lived big-partying like rock stars, moving fast, and believing the momentum would never stop.
But every movie has a turning point.
Just as the empire seemed untouchable, reality came crashing down when the FBI came knocking, forcing Chino to confront the consequences of ambition unchecked. Claude Chino McRae, also known as Canchino, is an entrepreneur, Movie producer, songwriter, and author born on March 29, 1978, in Richmond County, North Carolina. Raised in a humble middle-class household, McRae grew up surrounded by both the values of hard work and the realities of limited opportunity-experiences that would later shape his creative voice and entrepreneurial drive.
After attending college and becoming a young father, McRae faced the pressures of adulthood while still searching for his true path. Rejection and setbacks were constant, but rather than discourage him, they became motivation. Determined to build something meaningful, he entered the mental health services field and eventually started his own company. However, a partnership that began with promise ultimately led to devastating consequences.
In 2026, McRae released his debut book, Young, Black, and Living a Movie: A Tale of Medicaid Fraud, a candid and cinematic account of ambition, success, mistakes, and redemption. Through his writing, he hopes to inspire others by showing that even through adversity and personal failure, growth and second chances are possible.
Today, Claude Chino McRae continues to use his voice-through business, fashion, music, and storytelling-to educate, motivate, and remind others that the most powerful comeback stories often come from the hardest lessons.
