XIPOHUA PUBLISHING was founded in 2024 by Stephanie F. Valadez as a way to teach her sons about their indigenous culture. She found it hard to find many books in Nahuatl and about Nahua culture, so she decided to make them herself. These books use the Huasteca Veracruzana variant, the Central variant, and Classic Nahuatl depending on the content of each book. Images are from the codices, AI generated or originals from illustrators. The texts used are from oral lore, song/poetry (in xochitl in cuicatl), or child-friendly vocabulary.
