The Time Travel Kids travel to Moline, Illinois in the 1850's, and find a plow maker by the name of John Deere. In 1855, Mr. Deere said he built 10,000 plows. He went on to say his plows were popular because he used steel rather than iron for the plow blades. The grass, roots and soil would slide right off the plow blades whereas an iron blade would plug up and have to be cleaned before the plowing could continue, The kids asked him if he built any tractors and he didn't know what a tractor was, The kids offered to take him to present times and see a tractor. Mr. Deere said he wanted to ride on the tractor and see a plow work. They landed at a tractor factory and took a tour. Mr. Deere got on a tractor, and started it. That's when the chaos ensues.
