'Yes You May' is John Tucker's fifth poetry collection with Chipmunka. Although it is an eclectic mixture, it is bound together by a permissive, open and liberal aesthetic philosophy, where the poet contemplates things like coming out and Rimbaud in the Modern Age, even at the foot of the Lakeland's oldest fell, Black Combe, where it has all come together in the summer time. It is probably the nicest collection he has written to date.
Author Bio
John Tucker was born in London in 1982 to a Finnish mother and an English father. He graduated with a First Class Honours degree in English, Creative Writing and Practice from Lancaster University in 2009. He is now based in Whicham Valley, Cumbria, at the foot of the Lakeland's oldest fell Black Combe.
