The Yak Sisters: Thelma and Louise Save the Day is an adorable book about two yak sisters, Thelma and Louise. With whimsically animated illustrations, their story of bravery and friendship comes to life. This colorful tale offers parents a gentle way to teach their children about danger and how to call 911.
Thelma and Louise are two sisters that live together on a farm, helping Mr. Farmer. Thelma and Louise are the best of friends. They might look alike, but they have completely opposite personalities! One day, an unexpected accident happens when a truck drives by the farm where Thelma and Louise are grazing.
When a fire starts from a runaway tire off the truck, Thelma and Louise realize they must go for help. However, the sisters couldn't find anyone to help with the incoming emergency! Soon, they realize the other farm animals are in unexpected danger. Thelma and Louise use their differences to save the farm animals. They must also use what Mr. Farmer has taught them about fire safety and to call 911.
Fans of Brenda Dinges will love this action-packed adventurous children's book. The Yak Sisters: Thelma and Louise will make a great gift for families of young children who love animals and are learning to read. This book is a heartwarming, funny story for children of all ages.
