What makes these forms so ripe for this type of discourse? This publication presents a vast selection of textile artworks from the past 25 years by artists who deal with individual forms of resistance--including targeted discrimination, racism, trauma and ecocide. Centuries-old textile practices are brought into dialogue with contemporary techniques and concepts.
