The Buddha taught that pain is an inevitable part of life, but we inflict suffering on ourselves with needless anguish and angst over our desires to be rid of the pain, over fears of change and how wounds effect our lives, along with distress over losing what we hold dear and what we desire.

Taoists locate the cause of most suffering and conflict in desires and greed, trying to regulate human actions with moral systems, laws, and norms of behavior rather than living in simple harmony and respect.

These ventilated poems and writings are rooms where I had conversations with the mental, psychological, and spiritual suffering I experienced while dealing with physical pain over the course of the last two years - the mental suffering of angst, anxiety, and despair. They are conclusions of affection I found in living life fully experiential rather than playing dodgeball with its unpleasant moments.
